Command + Z

Oh what I would give for "Command + Z" to exist in the real world.

Figure it's time for an update, and yes Ms.Famiglietti this is "TEH POST"
Ever since we had that random aim convo about what "Love" is, It got me thinking.

*Anyone out there that wants to chime in go ahead*
Now this post isn't an answer or response to your question, in fact it might make it more vague and pop up several more questions in the process of reading.

So here we go, if love is usually seen as a human emotion, does it only apply to humans or can animals feel love as well? Can plants? Can the bacteria that's growing in my fridge feel love?

I was watching the discovery channel the other day and there was a documentary on how stress in our lives is actually a survival instinct built into all living things. They went onto explain how animals in the wild do experience stress...about 10 to 20 seconds a day, as opposed to us humans who are constantly stressed out hours, if not days at a time.

Now your probably saying to yourself "Your mad! How is stress a survival mechanism!?!? It makes me sick and miserable and just want to crawl into bed, eat a tub of ice cream and sleep it all away!"
Well the reason why you feel sick is because your body is ignoring it's immune system as well as disabling your brain to properly think things through. Why? The explanation lied within Red butted Baboons located deep in africa.

They found out that the only time the Baboons were stressed, which was about 10 to 20 seconds a day was when THEY WERE BEING HUNTED BY PREDATORS!
They're bodies naturally diverted blood, energy and all general goodness away from their brains and immune system and into their legs and lungs in order to escape the danger that was presented at the time.
Now we humans are pretty much fucked because we deal with stress differently.
We're constantly stressed out by work, friends, relationships, the economy, war, losing your keys, getting your order messed up at a fast food joint, as well as our own personal insecurities.

So where am I going with this you may ask? I was watching "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" the other night and there was a scene were Joel and Clementine were on a thin layer of ice on a frozen lake and he uttered how he "Could just die now, and it would be fine. Since he's completely happy"

It struck a chord in me..A GODDAMN BIG CHORD! A crazy chord consisting of 7ths and 9ths(sorry I'm a music theory geek)
I related to what he said, in the sense that I uttered those same words lying down in a park on a summer night and truly truly meant them to the person laying next to me.

So what do baboons and Jim Carey's character have to do in this blog?
The fact that love completely eliminated the feeling of survival!...eh?
I truly felt that if the world were to end at that moment, the fact that I was there with her brought a sense of comfort and relaxation. I was not stressed, everything in the world was perfect at that point.
I felt happy.

Which brings back that question of what the fuck is love?
Why is it so strong that it can make you happy even if your about to die?
Is love a survival mechanism like Stress? Is it there to shield you from impending doom? Or is it the final truth that nothing else in the world matters once you found it.

I don't know but it's an ungodly hour in the morning and I'm tired like a fat kid lost in a gym looking for a piece of pie.
I hope you didn't get to lost reading this.
It's just a little taste of what revolves around my brain most of the time I stare off into space.
