Finally decided it was time for the end of an era of headbanging and showing off on stage.
Altho I do miss the lifestyle, lifting heavy equipment up my stairs, crappy fastfood at 3 in the morning and the long pensive car rides to shows.
I think what I miss the most is all the hilarious and crazy situations that we got ourselves into while trying to make a name for ourselves.
I felt the nostalgia hit me the worst earlier today when my mom brought up the fact that she misses the noise that would crawl up the airvents from the basement and into the rest of the house.
Even though I know the "right" and "responsible" thing is to go to school and save up money at work. I feel as tho I'm living a lie. One that several older customers that I have met at work have warned me about when they put their dreams aside.
I know that they're going to make it... I just couldn't hold them back anymore and force them to wait while I figure myself out.
