It's 5:09 am and I woke up in cold sweat and afraid that someone was watching me.
Like I just came across something that I wasn't supposed to know.
In my dream I found myself in front of my computer/tv screen (it doubles as both because I use "picture in picture" or PIP to watch TV in a smaller screen while I surf the net)
Nothing seemed off at first since at this time I'd normally be doing the same thing, probably playing videogames or facebooking but I decided to get off the internet and watch tv instead.
So I made the PIP bigger and left my desktop in the background, only a tv program I never heard of came on, I can't remember the name but it was one of those tv shows that show videotapes of crazy things happening like car crashes or when animals attack.
Except there was a slight twist, it was labeled on one side "What you see" and in the other window "The truth"
At this point I was in that state were anything that happens in dreams your mind perceives it as the truth, no matter how wrong or illogical it is.
Three videos came up.
The first was a model walking down a runway and flashing cameras surrounded her, but in the 'Truth" screen it showed a lonely beaten girl locked in some room and she looked sick and malnourished, I watched as I saw a dark figure come up behind her and then the video stopped.
It went to the next video which was strangely a porno, in the "what you see" side of the tv it showed a man and woman engaging in sexual intercourse. But in the "Truth" section it showed a man beating a woman and brutally raping her.
For some reason I found myself not reacting to any of this, sort of like when your in a dream and your watching a movie..but the next clip triggered something in my head.
The third and final clip started with a group of fishermen who just caught a HUGE fish and they were recording it to document it, the "Truth" side showed the exact same thing.
Something happened tho, as the men brought the fish onto the boat it attacked and quickly swallowed one of the men, out of desperation the men dropped the fish on the boat and grabbed axes and knives and started cutting away.
It was at this point a little notification came up and it said "Maggie Famiglietti from MD is calling in to the show"....so far nothing struck me as wrong until I turned the volume up and it was a woman, but not maggie(I Think), she was talking incoherntly but it was english and she was having an argument with another woman, but the other woman was speaking backwards.
As I realized I was listening to something not normal the men on the boat finally ripped the fish apart to find their companion alive and well...except..on the "what you see" he was feet first inside the fish, while in the "Truth" side his legs was pulled out first..
At this exact moment I became aware I was in a dream and that what I was watching and listening to was disturbing, I immediately opened my eyes and felt like someone else was in my room.
I jumped out of bed ready to face a burglar, only to find myself, alone.
It was unusually cold tho.
I'm fine now but for five minutes I had a very uneasy feeling.
I turned all my lights in my room, called my dog in and am playing music.
What do you guys think the dream meant??
